Dear CALS Students,
What a year… we are impressed by the resilience, flexibility, positivity, and commitment to your education that you’ve demonstrated this past year and throughout the pandemic. It has been a year of uncertainty, unrest, and disappointment, yet also a year for substantial growth and unexpected opportunities. We hope that your final exams are off to a great start and you’re able to finish the year strong! A reminder that you can choose to use the disruption grading option this spring; if you have questions please review the FAQs or reach out to your academic advisor as needed.
We also want to extend our congratulations to the Spring 2021 CALS graduates! After a challenging year, we are so excited that many of you will be able to participate in in-person commencement ceremonies at Camp Randall! For more information about commencement at Camp Randall as well as CALS-specific ceremonies, please visit https://commencement.cals.wisc.edu/.
For students who will be returning to campus this Fall, we hope that you have a great, safe summer! If interested, there are many courses offered through Summer Term as well as wonderful virtual study abroad programs to which you may still be able to apply. For those students who are hoping to receive a COVID vaccination, UHS has announced that many appointments are available! We look forward to seeing you back on campus this Fall!
All the best,
