Epona Equine Veterinary Care LLC is seeking a student to complete a marketing project for course credit. Dr Gnadt provides spinal manipulation (animal chiropractic), acupuncture, and dentistry to horses in the Milwaukee area as a strictly ambulatory practice. The goal of the project is to create a brand for the veterinary practice and attract new business and customers through advertising. A secondary goal is to expand the practice into a new, specific geographic area as well. The project would last approximately 2-3 months and the number of credits would be pre-arranged between the student, their academic advisor, and Dr Gnadt. Project tasks include creating social media posts, editing video to create social media posts, web page design, creating logo swag, and print advertisement. The business is open to ideas from the student and would consider other advertising avenues at their suggestion. Ideal candidates have a strong background with horses or veterinary care, are motivated, and skilled with technology. The chosen student would be invited to come along for some veterinary appointments to get a better feel for the business if they are interested, but the majority of this project would be remote via email, phone calls, or video conferencing.
