CALS offers scholarships specifically for CALS students pursuing study abroad. Our scholarships have varying eligibility criteria, such as high academic achievement, career interest and/or major area of study, rural communities, and financial need. Award amounts vary, with the average scholarship being approximately $1,000.
To be eligible, you must be a full-time, degree-seeking student in CALS who is applying to an on-site UW, or UW approved, study abroad program. CALS students in a plant science major who participate in the UW Food Systems and the Environment in Northern Japan program are also eligible. CALS Study Abroad Scholarship applications for the Summer and Fall 2021 terms are due March 28, 2021.
