LGBTQ in STEM Panels
The Graduate Leadership & Development Committee (GLDC) and the Gender and Sexuality Campus Center (GSCC) at UW-Madison have collaborated to create the LGBTQ in STEM panels. These panels aim at addressing the low representation of LGBTQ graduate students in STEM, along with the barriers of racial discrimination and sexism in the scientific community. The goal of these panels is to provide an outreach opportunity for LGBTQ grad students to share their experiences about being in STEM with undergraduates who want to pursue STEM careers.
The panel for medical sciences is Wednesday, December 2nd from 10-11am. To join, copy and paste this Zoom link into your web browser: go.wisc.edu/LGBTQinSTEM
