As part of this week-long program, you will experience lectures and discussions at the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center along with site visits to farms in the surrounding areas. You will engage with local farmers and learn from research experts on the topics of food security, agronomy, sustainable agriculture, nutrition, climate change and the environment.
Please note that this program has several debriefing meetings on campus in the fall semester following the program. This program is not open to graduating seniors.
This program is approved as a field experience for the Certificate in Global Health, although students of all majors and certificates are welcome.
