At the end of the Spring 2020 term, from May 9-May 22, students may choose to convert their letter grade in any course to one of two new grades that have been created: SD (Satisfactory-Disruption) or UD (Unsatisfactory-Disruption).
Please know that health professions programs understand there will be a variety of assessments (i.e. grades) to reflect a student’s work while also recognizing the challenges both students and faculty face in the sudden adjustment to virtual classrooms. Schools are deciding how they will evaluate satisfactory/unsatisfactory grades when these are offered. Our conservative advice is to take pre-requisite courses for a grade when you have the option to do so.

You can talk with your advisor if you have questions about using this grading option. Keep working hard and accessing academic support resources! This article was posted in Academics Corner.
