We understand it is a crazy time for everyone but F.H. King Students for Sustainable Agriculture is still dedicated to providing fresh, free produce to the Madison community. In an effort to accomplish this, we are starting our summer planning by looking for students to participate in our Full Cycle Freight program, a food waste composting service. As a volunteer you would pick up food waste from local restaurants and deliver it to the Eagle Heights Community Garden, where we use it as compost to enrich our soil.
Get great hands-on experience learning how to work with hot compost systems and explore Madison while reducing food waste! You will also have access to our fresh veggies and awesome summer workshops and events. If you want to build your resume while making connections in the sustainable food community, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or check out our website if you have any questions.
