Wageningen University Exchange
Study abroad alongside Dutch and other international students at Wageningen University in Wageningen, a town known for its value of ‘healthy food and living environment’.
This exchange program will allow students to directly enroll in university courses and experience life as a Dutch student. Wageningen University is an English-based university with some of the courses offered in Dutch. Registered students may have the option to take Dutch language courses for free with a private tutor on campus. As part of this program, students can take courses pertaining to Animal Sciences, Biology, Plant Sciences, Dairy Science, Food Science, Forest Science, Environmental Sciences, Sociology, and other Soil, Water, and Atmosphere Sciences.
Apart from classes, students can take part in a variety of activities such as international student events, fitness classes, and a diverse ensemble of student organizations! There are also a number of ways to engage with the local community, including a local farmers market every Wednesday and Saturday filled with locally-sourced and unique Dutch food. Wageningen is known for its bike-friendly lifestyle and the nearby Kröller-Müller Museum, which features the works of the famous impressionist artist Vincent Van Gogh and is located inside of a beautiful national park.
For Fall 2020, the application deadline is March 13th.
