As we reflect on a standout year with our fifth class of Emerging Leaders, we’re thrilled to announce that year six of the Global Food Challenge is nearly upon us! The Global Food Challenge is now accepting applications for college sophomores from a variety of majors to join its sixth class of Emerging Leaders!
The program is an immersive, global experience, where students learn about hunger, agriculture and sustainability. Students spend time at key Land O’Lakes locations, including headquarters in Minnesota, member cooperative locations, and Land O’Lakes International Development projects in Africa.
Land O’Lakes will select six interns for a 12-week paid summer internship. Interns will work alongside professionals and fellow Emerging Leaders throughout the summer and present a final project at the end of the internship.
How to apply
To apply, students will be asked to submit a one-minute video application outlining why Land O’Lakes should choose you to work on a team with other students from across the U.S. spending 12-weeks as part of a boots-on-the ground, project-based agriculture experiential learning opportunity.
Applications are open until October 10, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. CST/1:00 pm. EST. Share this opportunity with your friends & networks! Learn how to apply here.
