If you do, apply today for the 2019 AFA Leaders Conference. Conference will be held Nov. 7-10 in Kansas City, Missouri. This four-day event connects college students pursuing a career in agriculture and food to key leader development opportunities, industry leaders and potential internship and career possibilities.
Conference attendance is based on a selection process. Applicants are reviewed on their passion, talent and commitment to the food and agricultural industry, as well as leader involvement. Once selected, AFA’s partners cover your program registration, hotel and meals. The only cost to you is travel to Kansas City!
Applications are due Sept. 16.

Travel assistance for students attending school at least 400 miles from Kansas City
A very limited number of travel grants are available through the application process for students attending an institution with the main campus address at least 400 miles or more from Kansas City, Missouri. This travel grant will provide airfare only to-and-from Conference. The Travel Grant is separate and has no bearing on your Conference selection. If you are selected for a travel grant, you will be notified within your selection notification.
