On Friday, April 19th, CALS welcomed 91 admitted CALS students for CALS Admitted Students Day hosted by the Transitional Advising & Outreach Services (TAOS) advising unit in the CALS Academic Affairs Office and CALS Ambassadors. Admitted students spent the whole day exploring the many opportunities and resources offered in CALS. The day consisted of a CALS majors fair, resource and student org fair, presentations about CALS study abroad programs, career services, the new QuickStart program, and housing. Students also got to experience eating in a dining hall, explore the beautiful CALS campus, and heard stories from our CALS Ambassadors on their CALS student experience. While there are a handful to choose from, CALS Admitted Students Day is one of the many visit opportunities admitted students can partake in during the spring semester. With the end of the school year approaching, we are excited to meet our new class of CALS students at SOAR and this fall! This article was posted in A Message from the Dean.
