The Nelson Institute Center for Climatic Research is happy to announce the Bryson Scholarship Poster Competition, which will be held from 3-6pm on April 9, 2019 in Union South’s Varsity Hall! This scholarship competition ($2000 available) is open for all graduate and undergraduate students (separate prizes for both categories). As a bonus, all participants in the Poster Competition will also be able to present their work with (free all-day entry) at the Nelson Institute Earth Day celebration at Monona Terrace on April 22.
This year, the Bryson Poster Competition will be held with the annual Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences / Space Sciences Community Poster Reception. This *free* event showcases the innovative science, engineering, educational outreach, and other projects going on in the Atmospheric, Oceanic and Space Sciences Building, and across campus.
By holding both events at the same time, participants will have an excellent opportunity to share their research in a friendly environment with other climate-related research across campus. Please note that anyone can register to present a poster, though the Reid Bryson competition is open only to students.
Feel free to present a recent poster of your work, re-show a poster from last year’s reception, or just come and check out all the great projects happening here. There will be free snacks and refreshments. Last year we had 80+ posters, several displays, and over 200 participants.
Registration for this *free* event is now open at the link below. We ask that all participants register – even if not presenting – so we can get a reliable count for catering. Please register here:
