DARS stands for Degree Audit Reporting System and is the affectionate name for UW-Madison’s degree audit tool. DARS allows you to see how the courses you have taken or plan to take will satisfy requirements for your declared degree/major or a potential degree/major, called a “what if DARS”. More information about running and reading your DARS report can be found here, and your advisor is an excellent resource. Run your DARS report after enrolling for next semester to ensure that the courses you have chosen are satisfying requirements as you intended. If something looks amiss, contact your advisor or email@example.com.This article was posted in Academics Corner.
