Getting Real about Men and Mental Health
November is recognized as men’s health awareness month, including both physical and mental health. According to the National Health Interview Survey (2010-2013), nine percent of U.S. men have daily feelings of anxiety or depression.
UHS Mental Health Services will facilitate three workshops in November related to mental health issues and dynamics that tend to pertain to male-identified students. Each workshop will include an informal presentation and the opportunity for discussion and Q&A.
All students are welcome to attend in an effort to bring together diverse experiences and perspectives and share concerns or process through issues they face as part of their identities.
