Dr. Azita Saleki-Gerhardt is Senior Vice President of Operations at AbbVie Pharmaceuticals and is responsible for their global manufacturing network, overseeing relationships with more than 2,000 global suppliers in a distribution network spanning 170 markets. She joined Abbott as a Research Scientist in 1993 and grew into key positions in science, manufacturing, quality assurance, supply chain, manufacturing, and distribution with Abbott and now AbbVie. She earned her bachelor’s master’s and doctoral degrees in pharmaceutics from UW-Madison and serves on the advisory boards for both the International Division and School of Pharmacy.This article was posted in Career & Professional Development.
