Welcome Students!
We hope you enjoyed your first week of classes and are starting to feel settled into campus and back into college life, whether you are brand new here or upperclassmen. It is going to be a great semester ahead and we in CALS wish you all the best success. Dean Kate VandenBosch sent you all a welcome message last week, which you can refer to here. It is our hope as a college that all students feel supported and appreciated, and are able to have a fulfilling CALS experience. Each of you are unique and on different journey’s here at UW-Madison, and we are grateful you chose CALS as your academic home.
Every Tuesday, we will send you a weekly newsletter full of tips for success, event announcements, involvement opportunities, policy and deadline reminders, and information about campus resources. Keep your eye out for this e-mail in your wiscmail every Tuesday!
To kick-off the newsletter, Brooke Trustem, the president of the CALS Student Association, has some thoughts on getting involved on campus, and we encourage you to visit the Wisconsin Experience website for ideas on enhancing time on campus.
Have a great Fall semester! On, Wisconsin!
