You have probably heard about the student fundraising campaign for the University of Wisconsin–Madison, but did you know that there is a generous alumnus who is matching all gifts made to the CALS Fund this spring? It’s true—if you give $10, it becomes $20 and supports things like student organizations, building renovations, internships and scholarships. Check out the impact of gifts here.
Speaking of CALS, when you make your pledge to the student campaign, select “College of Agricultural and Life Sciences” for where you want your gift to go. If the Class of 2018 raises $1,000 for the CALS Fund, the class will be listed on the donor wall in the historic house in Allen Centennial Gardens. The house, originally built as a home for the dean, is being renovated and will be the future home for CALS students (study abroad offices, career services, student orgs and meeting space). Help raise enough money to get the Class of 2018 on the donor wall!
If you pledge $10 you get a “W” crest decal for your keyboard like the one pictured. For a gift of $25, you get a special cord to wear at Commencement, indicating you are a donor to the student campaign. Every gift counts, so do whatever you feel comfortable with to help reach the goal! This article was posted in A Message from the Dean.
