1. Storyfest 2017: We invite your students to enter our environmental storytelling contest and win a trip to Brazil! Students may submit up to 3 entries for the chance to win a weeklong storytelling expedition to the Amazon rainforest with Frank Sesno and the “Godfather of Biodiversity,” Dr. Thomas Lovejoy. Entries may center on food, water, energy, mobility, the built environment, and/or biodiversity. All submissions are due Feb. 24.
2. Annual Summit: April 6-7 is our Planet Forward Summit at GW, bringing together experts in environmentalism, journalism, and corporate sustainability. From networking opportunities to breakout sessions, students will learn together and ask hard questions to some of the best in the field. Early registration will open Feb. 3 so look out for more details on this soon.
3. The Planet Forward Summer Academy: Our newest program! The inaugural Summer Academy is a weeklong, non-credit workshop on science and sustainability communication. Hosted on the GW campus from June 4-9, tuition totals $1,950; all meals and lodging are included for the week.
