Before you head into “study mode” for finals, come learn about an opportunity to take your idea for an energy technology or sustainable enterprise to the next level. The Wisconsin Energy and Sustainability Challenge awards over $10,000 in prizes each fall to students with creative solutions for advancing sustainable energy and environmental innovations. All students are welcome to submit their ideas, and past winners have gone on to start their own companies or non-profit organizations to bring their ideas to the marketplace.
Two info sessions will take place this Thursday, May 5 for students to learn about competition rules, important deadlines, and tips for a successful entry (see details below). The final competition takes place November 18, which means you have all summer to think about putting together your submission.
